As a Clinical Psychologist, I am trained in a range of evidence based therapies.  I have specialist training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for Post-Traumatic Stress.   I am also Paws.b trained, alongside extensive training and experience in mindfulness, enabling me to teach mindfulness within schools. Although I have particular  experience and expertise in working with children and adolescents, I also work with adults, with over 20 years of experience in this area.  I am an accredited child and adolescent member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP, No: 039726 ), registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC No: PYL23037 ), and a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS No: 072540).

Other roles

I set up and worked for eight years as a Clinical Psychologist (becoming a Consultant in 2011) at the National & Specialist, Child and Adolescent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy Service (DBT),  Maudsley Hospital. Following my twenty years in the NHS, I now work privately in Surrey within my clinic and in schools.  I supervised on the CBT Child and Adolescent Postgraduate Diploma course at King’s College London and have led supervision, teaching and training programs for child and adolescent mental health service teams and other audiences nationally and internationally.  I continue to offer supervision to other clinical psychologists and CBT therapists, as well as teaching and training to a wide range of audiences.
